Welcome to APexams.us, a Generative AI Learning Platform for AP Exam Preparation, operated by Gnosis Learning Inc.. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

1. Acceptance of Terms and Service Description

1.1 The Service

APexams.us provides an educational platform utilizing Generative AI and patented “Virtual Overlay” technology. The service is offered for AP Exam Preparation for students, and is also provided to schools, colleges, and tutors.

1.2 Platform Features

The platform delivers content through Collaborative Intelligent eBooks (CIES) and includes features such as: Content Overlay with Textbooks, Subunit-Level Slides, Multiple Learning Tutorial Videos, Personalized MCQ Quizzes (for score boosting), a Video Chatbot, Free-Response Question (FRQ) Practice Board, Chat with eBooks/Voice Assistant, and AI-generated quizzes.

1.3 Target Users

The service is intended for educational purposes and is provided to Students, Clients, and Partners, with access facilitated through Authorization. The platform is supported on Android, iOS, mobile phones, tablets, and desktop devices.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

2.1 Ownership

The platform, including its underlying technology, software, and proprietary content, is owned by Gnosis Learning Inc.. The platform utilizes a proprietary “Virtual Overlay” technology which is covered by an Issued Patent (US1098466882-2021). All rights not expressly granted to the User are reserved by Gnosis Learning Inc.

2.2 Content Licensing

The platform’s content is an extensible platform that mixes content from Gnosis Learning, Partner/School/University Content, and external resources like YouTube videos and indexed materials (e.g., OpenStax). Users and partners grant Gnosis Learning the necessary licenses to host, display, and combine their content within the platform.

2.3 User-Generated Content

If the platform allows users to submit content (e.g., for Free Response Practice, submitting complex equations, graphs, tables, and diagrams in image or PDF format for AI-based feedback), the user retains ownership of their original content but grants Gnosis Learning a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content to provide and improve the services.

3. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

3.1 Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and are responsible for all activities that occur under their account.

3.2 Prohibited Use

The User agrees not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform’s proprietary technology or content, including the Intelligent eBooks and the Virtual Overlay.
  • Attempt to access content or services without proper Authorization Access.
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than AP Exam preparation and educational study, including any illegal or unauthorized activities.
  • Circumvent or disable any digital rights management, usage rules, or access controls applied to the platform or its content.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

4.1 Educational Aid Only

APexams.us is a study and preparation tool. The platform does not guarantee any specific score or result on the official AP Exams. The services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

4.2 AI-Generated Content

The platform employs Generative AI for features like the AI Chatbot, generating quizzes, and providing FRQ solutions. While Gnosis Learning strives for accuracy, it does not warrant that the AI-generated responses or content will be error-free or completely accurate. Users should verify critical information.

4.3 Third-Party Content

The service integrates content from various sources, including partner institutions and third-party platforms like YouTube. Gnosis Learning Inc. is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

5. Termination

Gnosis Learning Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s access to the platform for any breach of these Terms, particularly those related to intellectual property and unauthorized access.
